Our client is a leading provider or serives for the Consumer Products and Retail industry. Providing Offer Redemption Services, Reverse Logistics and associated Data Services. Due to continued company growth and an internal promotion they have an immediate need for a Sr. Manager of Application Delivery.
Responsibilities include: - Function as the initial primary project contact for business product development group, gain understanding of their business goals and requirements relative to technology solutions at a high level, and assist them with the project initiation process. - Direct application design, development and successful delivery of assigned projects through the core technical project team (PM/ PC/ TA): * Ensure compliance with key project, development and QA processes. * Assist with resolving issues when roadblocks arise. * Assist with communications to stakeholders and senior leadership. * Attend key project meetings, including phase reviews, and represent the project manager as necessary. * Evaluate staffing needs/opportunities. - Resource management responsibility for designated I.T. professionals, such as Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Technical Architects, Data Architects and Developers. - Lead on-going assessment and development of the firms Enterprise Architectural initiative. - Develop/ deliver written and oral presentations.
Core Competencies: - Ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects and manage evolving priorities. - Ability to make staffing decisions, recommendations and to project staffing needs. - Ability to manage recruitment efforts for new staff, contractors and consultants. - Solid people management and leadership skills - Consultative approach to selling ideas, concepts and solutions; ability to identify short-term and long-term solutions. - Broad and deep technical experience (especially in Microsoft technologies)
ALL SERIOUS CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS: - 10+ years of progressively responsible I.T. roles. - 3+ years managing and directing a staff of I.T. professionals. - Exceptional Project Management skills; proven track record of success. - Strong Technical background; must have come up through the ranks of application design, development and delivery. - Technical or Solutions Architecture background. - Core MS technologies (Visual Studio.Net, VB.Net, SQL Server 2008, BizTalk 2009, Windows, Exchange, etc) - Bachelors degree
Additional background a significant plus: - Extensive MS technical architecture (.Net 3.5, SQL Server 2008, BizTalk 2009, WCF, etc) - Consulting background (process oriented individual) - Retail and/ or Logistics industry experience - PMP Certification
