Our client is "the" acknowledged leader and occupies a dominant position in their industry. Through their commitment to operationalizing data across the enterprise they've successfully implemented Microstrategy 9 into their BI and Enterprise Data Warehousing environment and are seeking the Microstrategy Architect to lead them into the future.

This truly ground floor opportunity requires an acknowledged expert in Microstrategy providing overall technical architecture, systems and solutions design, validation and technical thought leadership for the enterprise. You will additionally be responsible for developing and maintaining BI standards, provide input into annual budget planning and costing for all technical migrations.

SERIOUS CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:
- 8 to 10 years or more of I.T. background
- At least 5+ years of Microstrategy experience (dashboards, reports, applications, etc...)
- Strong architectural background designing enterprise analytics and reporting solutions
- Deep, hands-on Microstrategy SDK development experience
- Several years of Data Warehousing background
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelors degree

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE A PLUS:
- SQL Server 2005/ 2008 experience leveraging SSIS/ SSAS/ SSRS
- Retail systems experience.
- Java/ J2EE, WAS, WebSphere MQ background.
